As an experimental format featuring a bookstore as a participatory exhibition, Librería Donceles is a project that was born in New York City in 2013 and influenced by the fact that there are 2 million Spanish-speaking people in New York and not one Spanish-language bookstore. Following Kent Fine Art’s development of the project in tandem with the artist, it has continued as a traveling exhibiton for the past ten years.
