The Ordeal of Picasso’s Heirs was realized in 2012, and the work of art is made available as a hi-resolution digital file to be used to produce a Wallpaper version of the image. The project is based on a photograph published by the New York Times Magazine, April 20th, 1980. The image was then reversed. Muntadas made diligent efforts to locate the photographer before using (it was uncredited), as well as the author of the article (Deborah Trustman, now deceased).
