Of further note, Douglas Walla and the editorial assistants of Kent Gallery have been documenting the work of the Boston based visionary artist Paul Laffoley since 1987 The first monograph entitled The Phenomenology of Revelation published in 1989 was a highly successful project with texts by the artist edited by myself and Jeanne Marie Wasilik. Since that time, moving forward and backward in time, Douglas Walla has been building an archive for study purposes, including the formulation of a series of thought-forms linguistically linking and illuminating Laffoley’s subjects. Operating Systems to Lucid Dreaming to Time Travel, Laffoley draws upon his original studies of the classics, to his architectural training. As one of the most important trans-disciplinary visual artists of our time, we have been compiling a catalogue raisonne of his entire oeuvre to be published in three volumes, the first to be released in 2008. In the interim, we have included a partial archive of Laffoley's work on the Kent Gallery website. Proceeds from the poster sales are 100% dedicated to the costs of completing photography and printing of the publications.
